I don't suppose this fixes the problem with the GUI not responding to the changes on the evolver hardware? --- In DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com, "soundtower_helpdesk" <soundtower_helpdesk@...> wrote:

Hi digital_lofi, What problem are you experiencing? Recently, several users reported a similar problem with the Editor not responding to the Evolver - these appear to be the result of MIDI not configured correctly. If you are having this problem, please double check your MIDI In and OUT connections, as the Editor needs to have both in place to work properly (if you can change Evolver parameters from the Editor, but not receive parameter changes when adjusting the Evolver knobs, it's likely that either you don't have both MIDI connections in place, or that one of the cables is bad). If you've already checked this, or you did and it didn't correct the problem, please let me know. - STHD --- In DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com, "digital_lofi" <digital_lofi@...> wrote:

Thanks for getting back to me. I tried version 4.06 and I had the same problem. I have MIDI setup so that out/in are both "MIDISport 4x4 C" - At the top of the setup screen it shows as being "Not Connected". The evolver receives MIDI from the GUI, but not the other way around. The GUI does not update with changes made to the evolver. When I revert to 3.8 it polls the evolver correctly, and the GUI works both in/out from the evolver. i.e. It works as it should. --- In DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com, "soundtower_helpdesk" <soundtower_helpdesk@...> wrote: > > Hi digital_lofi, > > What problem are you experiencing?
