OSC Bleeding & OS Update

OSC Bleeding & OS Update

2008-12-30 by sushipizzascience

hi there,

recently got an POLY EVOLVER, love it, but it still has old OS
versions (Main 1.1., Voice 2.0 and DSP 3.0)

the oscialltors are bleeding in a strange way through the filters if
the cutoff is turned down the whole range. has this been fixed in
newer versions?

tried to update, but when it reads "OS load" on the evolver,
it does not count down. buffer settings on MIDI-OX are right.

any hints, any tipps?

Does this happen with all presets?

Do you have "VC Amplifier level" set to zero? When in doubt, contact
DSI.

Software update worked finally with another MIDI Interface. Bleeding
solved with the calbration routine. Did not get it to work earlier
because the calibration is stated wrong on the DSI Site - instead of
reset + osc 2 it is reset + num 2!
