Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

I'm terribly frustrated. I've consistently been unable to complete an OS load for DSP or Voice on my PER serial# 0028. I tried on 2 midi devices : Steinberg Midex 8 and Hammerfall DSP Multiface 2. Both are with the latest Windows XP drivers. I've used different sets of midi cables. I';ve set midiOX to the suggested settings on the DSI website, as well as trying a multitude of different settings. I consistently end at the number 1 of the countdown every time. I've also tried using Elektron's C6 sysex tool with the same symptoms.

I was able to successfully upload the Main OS no problem. My DSP and Voice OS's are currently at 1.0 and I would like to get them updated. I've had a little bit of wonkiness from the PER that I'm hoping this will resolve, but I can't get the OS's to load if my life depended on it.

I'm at my wits end, any suggestions?
