Devo sequencer question

when using the sequencer on the evo i often run to this.on many presets Seq 3 and after seem to have a different pitch then the seq 1-2. Almost always a higher pitch. What is causing this? In basic terms a seq step of 28 sounds higher on seq 3 then seq 1.
