Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

Just a question. Anybody know why when the VCA is turned up the evolver makes noise like it's waiting for something to happen?
I haven't tried the inputs yet but does it happen then too?

What kind of noise is that? And, what level is the VCA at?

As you increase the level you can hear what sounds like, well ever turn up your stereo without music playing through it? I understand the function I've just never encountered such heavy "silence" before.

Hey it's analog, it hisses and hums. Use the noise gate...
