PEK -- the LED's on the back

PEK -- the LED's on the back

2010-03-14 by wasteking1

the 4 led's on the back of the PEK [they seem to be duplicates of the LFO leds on the top panel]. Does anyone know what purpose they serve? my band finds them annoyingly bright and wants me to cover them with tape. Is there a specific reason for them , i have no idea. I almost thoght once that they could be sort of a 'band metronome', but all four at usually diffrent speeds it is way too confusing for that.

ok-- so for 'decoration'---
but i had heard that the PEK was kept down to 4 voices to 'keep costs down' but here we now have useless additional 'decorative' LEDs ... just what you need on a 'budget' model.
'Bells and Whistles' as they say.

I opened up my PEK and disconnected/ unplugged the blue LEDs on the back.
It´s easy.
