Transmitting Midi CC messages with MEK?

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any way of using the MEK's knobs to transmit midi CC messages? I'm in need of a general purpose midi controller, but I really resent forking out for a flimsy of plastic when I have a beautifully built mono evolver with excellent keys...

At the moment I only get sysex messages with the knob turns. I can't control my AU plugins with this as far as I know...

Any thoughts?

Knobs only send sysex messages I'm afraid. The MEK is wonderful, but not really ideal as a controller keyboard.

I don't have an evolver (or any DSI synths) any more but you could probably get round this by using Bomes midi translator or midi-ox or something assuming ithey available for mac..I'm a pc user!
This can convert sysex messages to cc's...anyway it should be possible.
Or you could get a midi solutions event processer plus if you want to do it in hardware I think...
