Hi there, i'm new to the forum. I have not the the evolver for long. However, i can see why this synth is got such loyalty from its users. Have any of you guys being able to successfully rack mount the desktop evolver? and how did you get it done...Thanks
You could fix it to a rackmount panel designed for other synths/modules. Access and Moog both have these types of panels although you could probably roll your own for far less (I think they run in the $60-80 range). I'm guessing that you'll need four or five spaces.
I used to keep mine in a slide out table in a floor rack. When pulled out it was flat and about knee's height.
Most days I put it on a little stand that I built out of 1/2 in plywood that props it up at about 60 degrees or put it on a heavy duty music stand.
