Dave Smith Instruments SYNTHESIZERS

I've got the desktop, but I use the Soundtower editor.  I've just been stuck.  I'm interested in playable sounds, not sequenced stuff.  Bass and leads.  I'd rather perform than sequence and my idea is to use the sequencer to modulate, not for notes.   I can't seem to find any tutorials on the internet.  I'd also be interested in a preset bank, but those seem pretty rare as well.  The ones my box came with aren't what I was hoping to get out of this little blue box.
