Key Transpose question

Silly question, but for some reason I couldn't find it in the manual, or maybe I missed it (again and again). I need to play a couple songs using the PEK as a MIDI controller only for some piano tunes, and I need to transpose the key signature down a couple steps for the vocalist, without learning the songs over again in other keys. I know there's the main Octave Transpose, and other Transpose functions in the Global options, but besides the Octave Transpositions, the other Key Transpose functions don't seem to change the value of the MIDI notes when I just use the PEK as a simple MIDI controller. They work fine within the PEK's sounds, but no change when using as a standalone controller. I know Key Transpose is a simple function on many MIDI keyboard controllers, just can't seem to find it on the PEK or if you can do that, any help would be appreciated, thanks! -- John
