Nina, I'm not entirely sure that I understand exactly what you want
to do. Are you asking if there is a way to "initialize" a program
(a.k.a "patch/sequence") on the Evolver? If that's what you're
asking, the answer is that I'm unaware of any function that will do
this for you. However, there are two easy workarounds:
1) Keep whatever you want to use as a "default" patch in program slot
#128 (in any bank). Whenever you want to initialize a program, just
copy program #128 into whatever slot you want.
2) If you'd like to be able to easily initialize an entire bank, copy
your default program into all 128 locations, then use MIDIOX to save
that data into a SysEx file that you can reload back into the Evolver
when desired. Instructions for using MIDIOX with the Evolver are
detailed in a post on the EX5Tech Evolver forum (link in my signature
below).
