cool..what you mean with cpu?? setting it up with
computer?? its in the midi section you should put
evolver to recive clock/sync..then it will be in sync
to you computer.
evolver is like every analogue synth out there.
its start from the oscilater(osc1/2/etc).
the oscillater is really the only thing in a analogue
synth that prouduce any sound..the
rest..filter/envelope(attack/decay/sustain/realese)
only is there to "shape" the oscilater.(or the filter
or the amplifer etc.."shapers"
then the amplifer is basicly there just to amplify the
suondsignal(and the better the ampchip..the better the
sound..in this case a CEM-type..like in waldorf/tb-303
etc.
LFO (low frequensy oscilator)is a kind of oscilater
to..but you cant here it(dogs can thoe) courae it goes
to loooow for humans to here..so its use for
modulation of amp/filter/etc..
there is LFO:S that sounds..but not in evolver there
is
you should buy a book calles "introducion to
modularsystem" from..i dont remember:) but its in
every good musicshop and a very thin book for synth
newbees.. i understodd NOTHING two summers ago but
learnd it all in a coulpe of weeks..its like 10 things
to understand!! and its the same stuff in every synth
out there.
so buy that book and read it for a week and the world
will open up for you my friend;)
stay tuned and peace out.
peter

I'm in Australia, so I can't help, but you might want to read this
