Wow!  What can I say except thank you from the bottom of my wallet
(and heart)?  That would be more than I ever hoped for and would give
me the peace of mind I am missing.  Since I am coming from a point of
near total ignorance as regards e-drums, I can only guess what
features I might want after getting comfortable with a kit.  I like
the added inputs, USB connectivity, sound imports, etc. with the
DTXT-2, but I don't need another room-eating monster either.  I have
no desire to buy more than I need, but do want to get something I can
grow into rather than out of.

While I am a complete newbie here, I have read enough of your comments
to know that is the absolute truth.  Between you and Ed I have never
encountered a more unbiased and fair representation of opinion on any
message board/user group that I have ever frequented.
