Here's the low down folks. Looks like if you buy a Pintech concert cast pad, then you have to put it through inputs 9/10 to get the rim to fire. Pad as trigger 9 rim as trigger 10. Although this is unfortunate, it's not the end of the world. Musso, Sorry to hear i didn't get this info to the board in time, but like it says use a y-cable and plug into the 9/10 input and it will work just fine. You won't get a "rim" trigger showing in the display for 9 or 10, but you should assign the rim sound to trigger 10 and the pad sound to trigger 9 you lose some of the functionality of the true "rim" inputs, but I bet it'll still be worth it to have a real good pad for the snare. Hope this info clears up this long lasting debate that we have had.
