I have Byerdynamic 880s at home.   BTW, they're the best sounding 
headphones I've ever listened to this side of $2000 Stax 
electrostatics.   

Come to think of it, it might not be a bad idea to take my own 
headphones with me when I go shopping again. 

I'm not sure what the impedance on them is.    Unless I'm mistaken, 
the lower the impedance, the more power they will suck out of the 
source.   There efficiency would make a difference too I suppose, if 
they're like loudspeakers. 

Plugging them into an amp like oldguydrummer said would probably 
work too anyway.   I hadn't thought about that.     I am shopping 
for my first ekit now.
