RE: [DTXpress] 2 sounds on 1 pad

2004-09-27 by rdamon@mckinney-usa.com

Welcome,

All of the dtxpress II & III and the dtxtreme IIS pads will work on the
dtxpress I module, but with limitations.

The TP65S and the PCY150S are three zone stereo input pads, of which, only
two zones will work on the Dxtpress I module.

The TP100 and TP120S are also three zone stereo input pads, of which, only
two zones will work on the Dtxpress I module. The red adjustment knob on
these pads will only work on the Dtxtreme IIS module.

The RHH130 that comes with the Dtxpress IIISP and the Dtxtreme IIS will also
work on the Dtxpress I module.

Since inputs 1-8 on the Dtxpress I are all stereo inputs (2 zones- pad &
rim), by plugging a stereo pad (using a stereo cable-tip/ring/sleeve) into
these will give you the two sounds you desire per pad.
Hope this helps and welcome aboard.

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a DTXpress kit. This drum is really
funny. I wonder if it is possible to have two sounds
(i.e. snare and rim shot) on a classical dtxpress pad
? If not, whatelse could I do ? Same on the classical
dtxpress cymbal pad ?
Is it possible to mix dtxpress module with dtxpressII
or III pad ?

Thanks to all
