Greetings Most Honorable and Helpful Group, I tried to start a thread awhile back regarding the satisfaction/desirability/experiential quality of playing through headphones to no avail (thanks, Ed, for *your* assistance ;-)) and am looking (hopefully) for some help from those who play through standalone amplification. What amps/systems are you using? What are your likes/dislikes regarding that particular setup? Hardware recommendations for/against? Again, this is a subjective arena, but I think it might be useful (certainly to *me*) to hear some user experiences and/or preferences. I am not too concerned with PA applications since (at 55) my gigging days are probably over (hope springs eternal and all that, but ... let's be realistic!). Inquiring ex-garage/bar band drummers are dying to know!! Thanks, guys!! FX
