The Alesis modules have only mono inputs; they do not offer choking or rims/edges as a matter of course. However, the DM Pro allows a trick for choking a stereo cymbal, whereby a second input can be used to shut off the sound accessed in another input. I know that Visu-lite makes a cymbal to take advantage of it. I haven't been able to contribute much to the board for a while, but it's good to see it growing and active.
