Re: DTXpressIII Brain with DTXpress I pad kit works ok?

Great thanks again Ed,

I have an Alesis QS7.1 keyboard that has decent drum sounds
I 'think' some of the DM5 sounds? So I should be happy with the
sounds in the DM Pro.
The Yamaha DTXpress I sounds are ok on only a few samples, most of
the snare and kicks are horrible and I only use a few!

NOTE; I also saw that the Alesis DM Pro has an expandable option...?
I don't know if this is on only selected models/versions or what,
but I sure would like to be able to load 'quality' samples into a
drum module. At 20 bit I think that's the highest of any drum module
I know of.

I wish I could get a snare sound of some of the new CD's I've been
listening to on the newer bands, like Hoobastank, Dishwalla, Puddle
Of Mud, Train, Saliva and others.
I'm an oldie at 43, but I like to listen to some new bands along
with my Ol' Classic Rock & Easy Listening stuff;)

Steve
