But the real gem at this site is vanBasco's Karaoke Player (midi player) which is a free player available for download from this site. The player is easy to download and install, and I've run it under both Win98 and XP -it hasn't caused any problems (it's stable, doesn't contain spyware, etc.). The program has many features for musicians - it provides control over each midi track (tracks can be muted or soloed), it has a playlist feature, it lets you adjust playback speed, and for keyboard players like me, it even has a piano keyboard that shows the notes as they play, and lets you transpose. By the way, I've been lurking on this list for about a year now, but this is my 1st post. Hi all! I'll put together an "introducing myself" post soon, as I just purchased a DTXpress IIIsp and expect to have lots of questions. Hoping the midi info helps, Jim (sixtiesrokker)
