Once you master the technique, you will not only be able to
control the double bounce, you can also produce a neat roll on the kick
using a double pedal. Makes for an interesting fill.

beater come back naturally, you'll eliminate the bounce on the pad
entirely. Absolutely no re-adjustment of trigger settings needed, just
proper technique. Playing electronics requires a slight re-adjustment
of playing technique, due to the nature of the striking surfaces, and
if you keep that in mind, you'll be able to eliminate that "dribbling"
of the beater on the kick pad pretty easily. The December issue of
Modern Drummer has a great workshop article on un-burying the beater,
which you should check out.
