RE: [DTXpress] Re: Kick pad problem

2001-05-21 by Simon Rowe

Jay

I think it went over a period of time as I was having to Hit the Bass
harder and harder to produce the same sound, at first I thought it was a
settings problem, but after my friend had a go (he owns DTXpress too)he
said there was something wrong. The guy in the shop tried the tower out
and immediately said it was defective. I opened the tower up before I
took it to the shop but I could see nothing visibly wrong, so I guessed
the Piezo pick up had broke? Not good news, try playing for 2 weeks
with no bass pedal. I tried re assigning the HH pedal in place of the
bass but it isn't the same.

 Good Luck

Simon Rowe

Did they tell you what the problem was? Did it just start happening all
of
the sudden on your kit? I guess it was not a drum pad issue if it was
sent
back.

Thanks,
Jay
