DTXpress live!!

2001-05-22 by Giles Hearn

Hi all.
I've now played the DTXpress at three gigs and I've
been very happy with the sound. So was the engineer.
Oh, the drummer in the support band was quite taken as
well. In fact he said he was going to buy one.
Admittedly, it's at its best through a good
professional PA. We played at the Hope & Anchor and
the PA there was like a child's toy.

Anyway, I used only the DTXpress - no extra drums or
cymbals - straight out of the box. For those of you
who want proof, go to the following URL.
It's a 28 min webcast of the last gig. recorded at the
Bull & Gate in London. The sound quality is obviously
lower (for streaming) but you get the idea.

If you get asked for a username/password, use
gihe/DMACPCIF
Also, Media Player 7 seems better at handling the
file.

Best tracks:
2 ("Kalashnikov")
4 ("Course Yer Do")
5 ("Stella Chinese")
6 ("89/99")
7 ("Personal Appearance")

Enjoy!
