I have both a Roland KC500 and the Behringer KX1200. The KX1200 has a better
mid-range, and go head to head with the KC500, except for what I have
described as the "scream" range.(Where you scream at the top of your lungs
at someone standing next to you and the person looks at you like "What did
you say? I can't hear you.")

At the really high volume range the KX1200 starts to distort, where as the
KC500 keeps pace.

I use the KC500 for my drums and use the KX1200 tied to a cd/radio and use
it day to day for just listening to background music. I run it about 4 hours
a day/5 days a week and 10 hours a day/2 days a week(end) for the past 5
months and still sounds like the day I bought it.

A little investigation around the web will confirm
it. That said, however, I can't remember anyone with the Behringer
KX1200 amp having anything bad to say about it,
