I guess then there may be a different kind of mounting issue to contend with as well. I REALLY like to stick with Yamaha stuff! I've been on the look out lately on ebay, for used Yamaha pads'n things. I didn't know Drumbalaya.com has used things for sale...Huh! I'll take a closer look at this site!:) I even thought about buying a 2nd DTXpress kit so I can get a buttload of extra rack componest to expand my system. I actually have bought several pad mounts to accomodate my extra pads. Steve
