Is this the store that Simon (aka flurbs) runs? I'd contact them
through one of the email addresses on the site and ask. Once upon a
time, using certain Hart equipment--particularly, the hi hat, ECII
ride cymbal, and Acusnare--with a Yamaha module ran the risk of poor
trigger response. I've heard relatively recently that the danger is
greatly reduced, but I haven't verifed it myself. If edrumonline
can't give you a satisfactory answer, try emailing Hart Dynamics
International for an answer. A summit meeting between Hart and Yamaha
(in the person of Tony Verderosa) took place a while back for the
express purpose of checking compatibility issues. No public
statements about the outcome have emerged, to my knowledge, but maybe
Hart has information on the subject now for potential Yamaha
customers.

Hart used to be relatively indifferent to these concerns. That's why
you don't see the company represented by many users on this site. A
couple of years ago, a number of us started trying out Hart equipment
and ran into the problems that I mentioned above. At the time,
despite Hart's expressed intention to look into the matter, nothing
came of it. I don't think that they can resist the Yamaha market much
longer, and Yamaha itself has begun to join the e-drum community a
little more, apparently realizing that they cannot make all things
for all people themselves. It was a hard road.
