Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Well folks, guess I've said enuf about that pad... as there are 
different people, so are there different opinions.  The stealth works 
for me and very well thank you.  How quiet is quiet?  Can't answer 
that for you. I play it just like I played the Y-pad, and the noise 
reduction is significant.  But that's not why I got it.  That kind of 
noise is not a problem for me.  I bought it because I liked the way it 
played, and the fact that it has proven to be many times more 
dependable than the Y-pad has been a real plus as well.  

Got a local drum store around? Find out if they stock them and go try 
one out.  The store in my area, Colorado Drum and Percussion, stocks 
them, and that's what I did.  I couldn't be happier!  Other's may not 
like it.....it's the old Ford vs. Chevy argument. Everyone's opinion 
is the right one (in their mind).  You gotta check it out for yourself 
and decide if it's right for you.
