You could alway add pizeo tweeters (horn, or bulliet design - choice is
yours) to extend the top end providing there's room to fit them.
You will need to add a resistor in series to the pizeo's BTW.
Good thing about them;
1) Reasonably cheap
2) Normally 'idiot proof' (unless you get a new breed of idiot)

The bass amp will handle the toms, and kicks with easy.
