Well, I had previously posted here that after much experimentation with various rejection settings, etc. I had just about decided that tightening the Hart mesh heads a bit tighter solved the occasional dropped hit. I'm no longer positive thats the final word. We had a focused rehearsal yesterday that i set my volume waaay down for so two of the string players could work out some parts. At one point i got a little 'into it' and struck the snare pretty hard and I'm pretty sure it dropped out. I couldn't reproduce it however, so I'm a bit unsure. To that point, I was pretty sure the 'over tightened heads' had solved the problem, but not 100% sure now. We have rehearsal again today, so I'll get another opportunity. Has anyone else experienced this issue and found the holy grail solution? I think I'm close, but thats just not 'good enough' for me :-) vlus
