RE: [DTXpress] Unresponsive Tom1 input

2005-02-25 by Damon, Rob

Welcome aboard.

First try a factory reset.
Second, try a different cable from one a tom that does work.
Third, try a different tom pad that does work on one of the other
inputs.
Fourth, move the tom pad that doesn't work to another input.

Let us know if any of these help.

Subject: [DTXpress] Unresponsive Tom1 input

Just aquired my first electronic kit - a DTX v1 - through ebay. I've
been surprised by how easy it is to get to grips with all the
different variables in the module but I have a worry: the Tom1 input
produces no sounds at all. And it doesn't react when I hit the pad in
Voice Edit mode. Can anyone suggest any checks I can make?
Thanks!
Tim
