Thanks for all of your help. I thought it weas going to be something like that, well that's what I thought anyway. So far, I'm 80% there I think?? What I did was assign midi notes to two seperate pads, in this case the cymbals, so that it would 'talk' to the sampler (at the mo I have a Boss SP303 - but will be changing this soon to a Yammy A4000 I think!) I then recorded the two cymbals in succsession (one bar each) , when I play the song back using the play/rec button it triggers the samples from the SP303, so far so good right, wrong! When I assign the song to the 'pad song' function (ensuring that it is set to 'chase' mode and also the correct song number) it doesn't play anything at all, the display on the module registers the hit. I thought the hard part would be to get the DTX talking to the SP303, not the starting of the 'pad song'..... Help?
