I remember recording practices in the early 80s on a portable
cassette deck with a built-in condensor mic. Every so often the
automatic limiter would kick in and change everything. God, we were
happy with it at the time. But we finally got a Studiomaster four-
track board, which was unbelievably good. I wish Studiomaster still
made something at that level.

Right, I remember now. I wonder if the Bose PAS would help to
minimize the effect of sound waves from monitors on the DTXpress (and
DTXtremeIIS). Maybe I'll be able to tell. I will be using a
DTXpressII module, in addition to ddrum, in my audition. I've already
had an inquiry from a business in the UK about getting the rights to
sell the PAS there (even though I don't work for the company, only
have contact with the PAS designer). Maybe sometime in the not too
distant future edrummers will get a chance to try it out for
themselves.
