Hi Al,

Welcome. Sorry we missed you. My answers may be spotty, but
hopefully before the day is out, you'll get some confirmation. Hey,
those of you who use the Song recording function of the DTXpress, get
off your butts.

No. At this point, the only software ever available was for the II,
done privately by a member, the_kin_doc.

I don't believe so. People usually seem surprised when they run out
of memory.

I've never heard anyone say so. Apparently only on playback.

If, in the System Group of the Utility Mode (1-3), you set the Volume
Mode for "Practice," you can use the Accomp Vol knob on the front
panel to adjust the volume of song accompaniment, and while holding
the "Shift" button to adjust the snare volume. You can use the Click
Vol knob to adjust the metronome volume, and while holding "Shift" to
adjust the kick volume.

I believe that you can mute only what's on track 1, but if that's
true, then if you record the song data on track 1 and the drums on
track 2, you should be able to mute the melody, no?

Hope this is a good start.
