Re: [DTXpress] roland pm-1 monitor

I has 2 channels as well (actually 3) and you can set all your cymbals and snare all the way to the right channel and adjust the bass and treble appropriately and set your toms and kick to the other channel and do the same. Works really well. I suppose you can do that with any amp though. I use it in my home and the walls shake. (well, not really, but close)

even compared to something like the behringer kx1200, $200 for 120 watts, that thing looks pretty tiny (the peavey) but the inability to distort sounds good, i'll see if they let me plug one in top the dtx at long island drum center. thanks

The Peavey KB2 really packs a punch for your purposes. And it's small. Real quality here. I have one and can't get it to distort.

Any one have any reviews or comments about the PM-1 60W Roland
monitor? I have found no reviews on the product anywhere and I think
the Yamaha component monitors are terrible (MS50DR and MS100DR). the
100 is ok, but not for the price. I am not looking for something
loud, just something that adeuqately give you the "oomph" of a solid
boudle-bass line in terms of low-end sound. Party on everyone.
