That's what I found out as well but you can compensate for
that by using both channels and adjusting left, center, and right settings in
the module. Until I tried this, I could get the nice deep bass but the bright
cymbal sounds were sacrificed. I never adjust it to the center channel. Lets
face it, you're not going to get the same performance out of it as the larger
Peavey amps but IMO it's the best one I've tried for playing in the
house.

Every small amp makes sacrifices. Where is the Peavey weak? My guess
is that it probably does some service to the mid-bass and upper bass
(from 50 to 100 Hz), as well as the mid-range, but doesn't descend to
the lower registers or into the upper treble.
