Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I bought a RHH130 to try to get a better feel and more consistent 
sound with the Hi-Hat.  I wasn't happy with the standard TP65 and 
attempts to integrate a Pintech Zenbal cymbal were frustrating.  So I 
decided to stick with a Yamaha-produced pad and trust I'd find 
satisfaction with it.

Has anyone else integrated it in their DTXpress II system?  I seem to 
be getting some inconsistent sound levels out of it, without making 
many adjustments.  Is the RHH130 a 2-layer or 3-layer pad?  Any tips?
