There shouldn't be too many problems doing it that way. You'll need 2 1/4" mono jacks to 2 RCA phonos to run the module in stereo. Make sure you use the aux input on your amp, not the phono input but you sounds to me as if you knew that already. I'm guessing Yamaha assumed people would do this anyway, that's why some people moan about the output from the module being low. I think it's low as not to overload the RCA inputs on Hi-Fi inputs.
