Regarding the use of brushes, it just isn't possible to use them with an e-kit. But I have used sticks on the module's brush kit when playing live with my country band. It didn't sound too bad, and I tweaked and changed the sounds to suit what I wanted, but obviously there are limitations, and real brushes on an acoustic kit will always sound better.
