Definitely the Yammy. With it's wooden snare and bassdrum hoops, all
you have to do is to add a tom suspension system, and you got
yourself something very close to a pro drumset. 

I'll have to say that I haven't really looked into the Pearl set, but
I simply hate that make and I always will. 

If you're going Tama you should put in the extra bucks and buy the
Rockstar student/amateur set. My first set was a Swingstar and the
hardware and esspecially the HiHat stand just didn't cut it. Plus
Tama ships the Rockstar with Starcast Tom suspension!
