Some help, please

Some help, please

2001-07-24 by inchez@carolina.rr.com

Ok, this question isn't really even about the dtxpress, but im
guessing that a lot of u drummers will still be able to help me out.
I decided that im going to get an acoustic set instead of
electronic. Now, I was just wondering which of these you guys would
reccomend over each other: Pearl Forum, Tama Swingstar, or the
Yamaha DP. If you have any other suggestions that are in this price
range, please let me know if you would reccomend them over these
ones...if not, just let me know which one to pick from these.

Thanks

Definitely the Yammy. With it's wooden snare and bassdrum hoops, all
you have to do is to add a tom suspension system, and you got
yourself something very close to a pro drumset.

I'll have to say that I haven't really looked into the Pearl set, but
I simply hate that make and I always will.

If you're going Tama you should put in the extra bucks and buy the
Rockstar student/amateur set. My first set was a Swingstar and the
hardware and esspecially the HiHat stand just didn't cut it. Plus
Tama ships the Rockstar with Starcast Tom suspension!

Best of luck,
