Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Thanks for your advice it was the lead that was the problem and its 
now working perfectly, whilst reading some of the posts regarding 
hihats i noticed a lot of people mentioning the partially open sound, 
i do seem to be able to get 3 distinctive sounds from the hihat(unless 
i've gone mad) not totally sure about all the workings, but from a 
microswitch it seems quite impressive! My drumming has come on miles 
when it comes to hands and right foot in about 3 weeks, just need to 
teach my left foot to have a mind of its own now!!!
