I just bought a mesh head for my 22" kick drum (Pearl sells them singly as replacements for their Rhythm Traveler kit) and a Pintech trigger...total was about $35. Plugged the trigger into the DTXPress and I was up & running in about 5 minutes! Works like a charm! Feels natural and is positively quiet!
