Has anyone else got the new Raven eDrum software from www.digital- black.net? I started using it a couple of days ago, and I have to say it really is excellent! You plug your pads and triggers into a multi channel ASIO audio interface hooked up to your PC, and it basically acts as a electronic drum "brain" up to 16 pads, each with 8 sample splits, and it uses standard WAV file samples (up to 32bit / 192 KHz). The triggering is fast, responsive, and you can really tweak it to dial it in just right The supplied samples are nice sounding though there aren't many. It also supports MIDI too so after I get some more samples, I'm considering splashing some cash on Battery or BFD! Anyhow, the Raven is a bargain I reckon! Who says blondes have more fun? ;)
