Joe, 

If you mean a standard Yamaha dual zone pad then yes, I know the
reason - there is only one piezo output from a Yamaha dual zone pad,
the other is just a switch closure.  If you split it with a Y splitter
then one input will get the piezo, the other will just get a switch.

Some other make pads have two piezos and you would be able to split it
with a Y splitter into two separate inputs - in fact that would be the
only way of using it with a Yamaha module without my DTXpander box.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
