I have never tried the Roland or Yamaha ones so I cannot compare. I think the Z-5300 is similar - just the 5 speaker surround version. It either lacks a little mid range or has a little too much bass (although the sub-woofer is adjustable) it is difficult to be sure which. The bass is good unless you like it really loud in which case it will distort. For home practice it seems plenty loud enough and is economical. Keith.
