I agree with Keith Zildjian anti vibe sticks really work well with rubber pads & DTXpress cymbals, taking some of the shock away from your wrists/hands (can be a problem with heavy hitters)- they come in most popular sizes but are more expensive than standard sticks (about one & a half times average stick price). I wouldn't bother with nylon tips, they make no difference on an electronic kit.
