If you live in the Midlands area, try "Sound
Control" in Birmingham (they used to be called Musical Exchanges). After I
had quoted various internet prices they let me have a brand new DTXpress
for £780.00. Internet was cheeper but I think it's worth paying extra for
the support and piece of mind buying from a local retailer. Just make sure
you test the kit first to make sure you can live with it. Good
Luck!!

I have just joined this forum in the chance that anyone may have a contact
that can get the DTXpress at a price less than the RRP of £999.99. I have
just recently stumbled across an advert advertising the capabilities of this
machine and I must say that I am impressed. It has been some time since I
last had my drum kit with what me now married etc.. I have found that I can
relive my youth and play to my hearts content without any interruptions from
'she who must be obeyed.' Does the drum kit feel, play and sound just as good
as an acoustic kit? I dare say it must take a while to get used to a rubber
pad rather than a cylindrical object that can be easily hit with your eyes
closed even after a bottle of whisky. If any of you can help in this matter
it will be greatly appreciated.
