The thread size is a standard M6 bolt. If you can't get the actual bolts with the plastic screw-in heads, then your local B&Q should do a packet of 10 M6 bolts for about £3.00. Probably about 1/4 of the price for one official bolt. This is what I'm using as I've lost a couple over the years. Work perfectly and hold the pads nice and secure.
