The old ddrum module, however, which is based on an entirely different system of triggers and samples, has numberous such programming options--one of them, in fact, being a vintage Ludwig kit. Ddrum's huge library also features entire kits belonging to contemporary drummers. Despite the ddrum's age and its outdated computing facilities, its sonic qualities are impeccable. Drummers not in need of huge kits or full MIDI functionality might find ddrum more satisfying for some of their needs than a Yamaha or Roland, with all due respect. Ed
