Hmmm....tricky The DTXpress uses hexagonal bolts to secure each pad to its "stand". The stands are metal tubes about 1.5" diameter. These are the same width as the rest of the rack. Each stand fixes to the rack by means of one or more plastic junction sleeves, tightened by a large knob. Oh yeah, there's also a knob to tighten the pad to its haxagonal bolt. If your pads have got the knob with them you could possibly attach them to a cymbal boom stand. I think you might be unlucky though, coz all the knobs and fittings came with the rack when I got my kit.
